A California native, Tracy Adams moved to the east coast to follow her dream of going to college and having a career in the Washington D.C. area. She received her undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Howard University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Computer Science from George Washington University.
Prior to her higher education, Tracy gained experience in the field of signal communications with 8 years in the Army National Guard. She is now building a successful consulting career in the IT Security industry at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Tracy’s interest in education reform and entrepreneurship keeps her involved in forward thinking organizations and communities. She uses her network to expand her audience, providing a platform for her to share the importance of a competent and capable STEM workforce and the great need for minorities and women in these fields.
